This is our second year to host the Fall Yarn Tasting Event, and I am very excited!!!  Save the date and come in for a wonderful day of yarn tasting, wine (or sparkling grape), and light appetizers.  Last year we kept our doors open after 4:00 pm to explore these yarns in a casual environment; however, we had so many people show up, and it was very crowded in the shop, so this year we are going to spread it out all day.  We will have yarn reserve sheets ready for you, so the second the Fall yarn hits the door it will be waiting for you to pick up.  The yarn sampling is the new Fall yarns from Berroco!  They will send several samples of yarn to try out and a copy of each pattern booklet, so you can see what garment you would like to knit this Fall.  This day is all about you!  Come in and select which yarn you would like to work with this Fall; we will be sure to reserve it for you when it arrives.

Delightful DK – the perfect sweater yarn

Daisy

Our idea was to combine the typical hand feel of linen/hemp, with the soft feel of silk while also getting an interesting color effect by combing the mat of linen & hemp with the sheen of the silk.  This yarn is perfect for gorgeous sweaters, quick and fun accessories!
