This is a new club for those interested in the different techniques of hand-embroidery.
We continue work on the Northwest Star by Liz Turner Diehl. Her booklets are out of print, so you will want to join us before we run out of them.
For the April class we are going to pick out fabric and threads to make your Northwest Star. We are going to talk about the border and how to complete it before the May class. The May class we are going to focus on the different Waffle stitches (Tied Waffle, Full Waffle, and Butterfly Waffle). This is a unique and beautiful project that you don’t want to miss out on, so call 918-481-1055 and reserve your spot in call today.
Teacher: Lori Hall
Saturday Dates: April 1st and May 6th
Time: Starts at 11am
For March we are took that finished piece of embroidery and turned it into a stand-up. You will learn the techniques (and errors of what not to do) from her finishing days.
If you did not take the January class and interested in making a stand-up, you can bring a finished embroidery piece, which includes cross stitch and punch needle. You will need to bring fabric (about 1/4 to 1/2 yard) that match your finished piece, all other finishing items will be supplies at the time of class.
Class is Saturday, March 4th, at 11:00 am. Cost is $40.00.
In January, we looked at very basic forms of embroidery.
