Christina’s Corner

10501813_10205360385282777_3279264120117490179_nChristina Cox, owner C-Skye Farms, loves to spread her knowledge of knitting.  Her enthusiasm for the world of fibers is very contagious.  She started a few small classes to help knitters get some holiday gifts done in 2016 and now wants to stretch knitting skills into 2017.

Come and join her classes on Tuesday nights, starts at 5:30 pm.  You can get off work and head on over for a night of learning and fun!  We will have plenty of snacks and drinks for you to enjoy the evening.  You will need to call us at 918-481-1055 to schedule you spot at our teaching table, so that we can make sure we have all the supplies needed for the night.

 

 

Tuck Stitch Cowl

cowlHave you ever done color-work and carried strands of yarn throughout your cowl?  Here is a simple Tuck Stitch Cowl that uses one simple stitch to control all those strands of yarn.  It’s kind of scary when you first learn the stitch, but after a couple of times you will do it like a pro!

Intro to Lace

laceDo lace patterns look confusing, but you would love to be able to stitch them?  Christina’s Lace Classes are perfect for you to learn how to knit lace patterns.  She will give you tips of the ins and outs for working on lace patterns.  We will do a quick project to get you started and understand some of the techniques for doing lace patterns.

Lace Pattern One

This class you will be working on a lace pattern that will be simple.  This will give you the knowledge and confidence for working lace patterns.  Christina will work with your to get started, so that you will have the ability to continue working on it after you get home.
