It’s Spring Time!
April is known to bring showers for our flowers, grass and gardens. Take the time to scroll through our showers below and see the wonderful activities we have planned for you!

1. Cross That Stitch
Saturday, April 1st, at 11:00 am
For the March project we are going to learn different types of the Waffle stitch. We will be using a booklet by Liz Turner Diehl; which is no longer in print, so you need to reserve your seat in class before we run out of booklets.
2. Beginning Sock Class, part 3 of 4
Saturday, April 1st and April 15, at 11:00 am
This is a great class to learn to knit socks using Double Point needles. Janet Miller is our wonderful teacher who will teach you step-by-step how to knit socks. Cost is $10.00 and you will get 10% off your supplies needed for class.
3. Stitch In Time Club
Saturday, April 1st, at 1:00 pm and Thursday, April 13th, at 6:00 pm
We will be working on the fourth square of the Building Blocks pattern book, designed by Michelle Hunter. Class is $10.00; Yarn and other supplies are 10% off. Get Stitchin’ will store your yarn; so that you can purchase what you need each month.
4. K.N.I.T. Guild
Thursday, April 6th, at 7:00 pm
Come in and learn about a neat group of knitters that love to have fun and help each other with technical questions.
5. Beginner Mystery Scarf
Saturday, April 8th and April 22nd, at 11:00 am
Juanita Young will teach different stitches for beginners to learn while making a scarf. You don’t want to miss out on the fun while learning new stitches! Cost is $10.00 and covers personal instruction; you will get 10% off of your materials.
6. Weavers Rapid Warp Loom Class
Saturday, April 8th, at 9:00 am
Limited Seating Available. Love to Weave – Hate to Warp? Come and learn how to use this rapid warp loom. It is so amazingly easy, you will not leave the shop without taking one home – it’s just that fantastic!!
7. Hooked on Fibers, Crochet Club
Saturday, April 15th, at 11:00 am
We have kicked off a “Crochet Along” club geared toward beginners that want to expand their crochet skills under the direction of Deborah Broome. Cost is $10.00 and includes pattern and personal instruction; you will get 15% off materials.
8. J2 Sock Yarn Club
Saturday, April 15th, at 1:00 pm
Janet and Juanita come up with beautiful projects using Sock Yarn. They not only make socks, but also use sock yarn for unique, beautiful shawls/shawlettes. The class costs $30.00, which includes yarn, pattern and personal instruction.
9. Thirdsday!
Thursday, April 20th, at 6:00 pm
It’s a Fiber Thing!! On the third Thursday of each month we extend our hours until 8pm to invite spinners, knitters, crocheters, cross stitchers, needle felters and more to come in and join us for a time of relaxation and fun! We typically have pizza and drinks at a low $5 price for those that need a bite of dinner. Come and join us!!
10. Needle Felting Class
Saturday, April 29nd, at 1:00 pm
Come in and learn how to turn a pile of fibers into creative shapes and artistic designs. This class is $30.00, which includes personal instruction and all materials needed for you to create your project.
11. Janet’s Workshop
Saturday, April 22nd, at 1:00 pm
This Saturday Janet Miller will be available to help you with any knitting question may have on your current project. You can come and spend the afternoon with her and take advantage of her knowledge.
12. UFO & Spring Cleaning
Saturday, April 29th, All Day
Come in and spend the day with us! We are going to have contests with your UFO’s and have ideas for spring cleaning!!
