Spinning Yarn with Locks

This class will introduce you to knit with “locks of wool” to add personality to your project.

Rani will teach you how to use Locks of wool with your Spinning to produce unique and beautiful yarns.  You will need to feel comfortable with spinning in order to gain full appreciation of this class.   You need to bring the fibers, but if you don’t have any we will have some for you.  She will supply some of her delectable locks to spin with.   If you have taken the recent spinning classes with Jane Deason and don’t have a spinning wheel, not to worry; Jane will rent them to you for $10.00.  Be sure to call us at 918-481-1055 to reserve a wheel.

Class Schedule:  Saturday, August 27th from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Class Costs:  $45.00 for the afternoon.

About the Teacher

raniRani Cagle, AKA Rani Loveswool, will be teaching a series of classes to help us learn more about the world of wool.  She welcomes all fellow fiber artists of all kinds.  She has been in the art for quite a few years now and enjoys crocheting, knitting, weaving, spinning, and dyeing… so very many things.

She runs a sustainable farm nestled in the Ozarks that offers local wool, fresh produce and eggs.  Her farm provides a forever home for rescues too.  All her fibers are harvested humanely and she has a mission with heart and compassion at the core.  All of her fibers are hand-processed from raw fleece, which is an aspect of the art the she thoroughly enjoys.  She is a fun-loving humanitarian and always looks forward to meeting new people and sharing her knowledge of the art.

We are privileged to have her come to our store and teach on the 4th Saturday of each month, so set your reminders to sign up for all of her classes…

You need to call and reserve your seat for these classes.  Each class is 4 hours long with a 20 minute break.   The deadline to sign up is Thursday, August 25th.
